Italy and Greece practically own the early history of Western civilization, which becomes vividly clear as you gaze down upon the ruins of the Roman Forum and walk through the monumental structures of the Acropolis. In Vatican City, marvel at the grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica and the breathtaking artistry of the Sistine Chapel. In Delphi, look deep into Greece’s mythical past.

The Santorini and Crete extension is available for departures beginning May 1. Groups departing in March and April will visit Naxos and Santorini instead. For additional details, please contact your Tour Consultant.

Meet your Tour Director at the destination airport

Take a guided tour of Rome

With your expert local guide you will see:

Colosseum
Roman Forum

Participate in an Archaeology workshop, where you'll observe and analyze ancient Roman ruins

Day 4: Rome • Florence

Take a guided tour of Vatican City

With your expert local guide you will visit:

Enjoy time to explore St. Peter's Basilica on your own

Travel to Florence

Day 5: Florence
