These affordable plans provide pre-departure and on-tour benefits, including medical expense coverage that may apply on tour and tour cancellation for reasons specified in the plan.

Global Travel Protection Plan
$190
You can add this plan from the time you enroll your child on their teacher’s EF tour up to 60 days before departure. Purchase by logging in to your EF account.
Trip cancellation
If a traveler needs to cancel their EF tour due to reasons specified in the plan, this reimburses non-refundable pre-paid payments.
Illness and accident
Provides benefits related to hospital bills, doctors’ fees, and medical transportation associated with on-tour illness or injuries, as well as travel and accommodation expenses for a family member to be with your child while hospitalized in the event of a life-threatening illness.
Trip interruption
In case of serious injury or illness that interrupts a traveler’s time on tour.
Protection for belongings
Coverage for baggage in case of theft or delay.
Trip delay
Coverage for expenses due to trip delays (lodging, food, and other reasonable expenses plus limited reimbursement of unused, forfeited, prepaid non-refundable payments for travel arrangements).
Emergency evacuation
Coverage in the unlikely event a traveler should need to return home unexpectedly due to a natural disaster or unrest.

You’ll receive everything that’s in the Global Travel Protection Plan
Cancel for any reason up to 60 days prior to departure*
If your child needs to cancel their tour up to 60 days prior to departure for any reason, you’ll receive a refund of the program price (less the cost of the plan and other Non-Refundable Fees).
Cancel for any reason 59 days to 24 hours prior to departure*
If your child needs to cancel their tour 59 days to 24 hours prior to departure for any reason, you’ll receive a refund of the program price (less the cost of the plan, 50% of the program price and other Non-Refundable Fees).
Baggage tracking service
Blue Ribbon Bags provides a service that will track and expedite the return of your airline baggage if delayed.
